Making a Difference
At Saving Gizmo's Friends, we are dedicated to giving every animal a second chance through compassionate rescue, advocacy, and care.
Our mission is to:
Tackle the pet overpopulation crisis by supporting accessible, affordable spay/neuter programs and clinics.
Empower non-profit rescue and advocacy organizations in their efforts to save shelter animals.
Fund critical medical treatment and veterinary care for animals in shelters and rescues.
Find loving homes for rescued dogs and create safe spaces for animals who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Through these efforts, we aim to build a compassionate world where every animal has a chance to live a life of love and dignity.
What we do
-
Because the root of animal homelessness is overpopulation, and the only answer to this is… creating spay/neuter solutions!
Stray animals are born into a life of misery. In their very short lives, they are left to fend for themselves, with many dying due to hunger, illness and abuse. The authorities systematically capture dogs, dumping them in forests and leaving them to die of starvation.
We need to deal with the root cause of this issue and reduce the number of uncontrolled birth of puppies, thus reducing their numbers to a healthy baseline, so that they can maintain a long-term sustainable population. The answer is spay and neuter!
Currently, Saving Gizmo’s Friends is actively holding monthly sterilization clinics in central Mexico through our partner The MexiMutt Project.
Your generous support helps us continue our important lifesaving work.
